INDIGENOUS WORLD VIEW
Designed for: Corporations, governments, contractors and associations, pprofessionals, para-professionals, social workers, guidance counselors, teachers, care providers etc.
Goal:
The Indigenous World View Workshop aims to provide participants with an understanding of the perspectives of Indigenous peoples compared to those of non-Indigenous people. Indigenous history, ceremony + ways of being, contemporary realities, and understanding culture + protocol.
Objectives:
- To learn of the Ways Of Original Peoples
- To gain awareness of the process of colonization
- To learn of colonization’s impact on Indigenous Peoples in Canada
- To become aware of Indigenous Peoples revitalization of their culture, language and traditional practices
- To create greater understanding and enhance communications between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.
Group Numbers:
The Indigenous World View Workshop works best with anywhere between 15 and 60 people.
Time Required:
Two 7 hrs. per day sessions to complete
Cost:
$1000.00 per day plus expenses
